About Dust
Dust is a platform where teams build and share custom AI agents. An agent can be given skills, knowledge and tools, use more than 20 frontier models from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral and DeepSeek, and connect to company data through more than 20 connectors including Slack, Notion, GitHub and Google Drive, or to any tool through MCP.
Agents can be combined into multi-agent workflows that run on schedules or triggers. Workspaces let teams share context, Frames build interactive dashboards and apps, and Spaces control which data each group can see. Security features include SSO with Okta, Entra ID and Jumpcloud, US and EU data residency and SOC 2 Type II. A developer API and links to automation platforms such as Zapier, Make and n8n are available.
Plans work on credits that are used by the models and tools an agent calls. There is a free allowance, a self-serve plan for teams of up to 100 people with Pro and Max seats, and Enterprise adds unlimited connectors, SCIM, audit logs, single-tenant deployment and a dedicated customer success manager.
Our take
- Good for
- teams that want AI agents working on their own company data and tools, with admin controls.
- Skip it if
- you are one person who only needs a chat assistant.
- The catch
- its pricing has changed over time and published sources disagree, so confirm the current plan on its site before you budget.
Checked . Plans and limits change, so confirm them on the vendor's site before you buy.
