About Descript
Descript is a video and audio editor in which you edit by changing the transcript. You record, transcribe, edit and enhance media in one app, and its AI assistant, Underlord, brings more than 20 AI tools. It runs as a desktop app on macOS and Windows, and there is also a web version.
The Free plan includes 60 minutes of media a month and 100 one-time AI credits, with 720p export and a watermark. Hobbyist adds 10 media hours and 400 AI credits a month with watermark-free 1080p export. Creator adds 30 media hours, 800 credits, 4K export, full Underlord access and unlimited royalty-free stock media. Business adds 40 media hours, 1,500 credits, a team-wide Brand Studio, translation and dubbing in more than 30 languages, custom avatar generation and priority support with an SLA. Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM, a dedicated customer success manager and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
