About Leonardo AI
Leonardo.Ai is a generative AI platform for images and video. You can create visuals from a prompt or from custom models trained on your own style, animate images into video, edit while keeping characters and composition, and upscale for print or high resolution screens.
It began as an Australian start-up and was acquired by Canva in 2024. Canva said Leonardo would keep running independently and that its models would feed into Canva's own AI tools.
The Free plan gives a daily allowance of fast tokens. Paid individual plans add larger monthly allowances, and the top individual plan includes unlimited relaxed generation on selected image and video models. Team plans price per seat, and an API with pay as you go billing is available for developers, with custom plans for larger organisations.
