About Make
Make is a visual automation platform. You drag modules onto a canvas to build scenarios that connect apps, add routers and filters, and run them on a schedule or a trigger. It supports more than 3,000 apps and has a code app for running custom JavaScript or Python inside a scenario.
Make has added AI throughout the product. Maia by Make lets you build automations and AI agents through conversation, Make AI Agents are in beta and can use Make's AI provider or your own model key on higher plans, and a Make MCP Server connects your own AI tools to your scenarios. More than 350 AI apps, an AI content extractor and AI web search in beta are also available.
Make began as Integromat and is owned by the process software company Celonis. Pricing is based on credits, where each module action uses one credit. The free plan includes a monthly credit allowance and a minimum run interval, paid plans add unlimited active scenarios, priority execution and more, and Enterprise adds custom functions, security features and round the clock support.
Our take
- Good for
- building branching, multi-step automations on a visual canvas.
- Skip it if
- you want the quickest possible start, because it takes longer to learn than Zapier.
- The catch
- you are billed per operation and the free plan runs on a slow schedule, so frequent automations use up the allowance quickly.
