About Mirage
Mirage is the company formerly known as Captions, and its creator app is still called Captions. The app offers a chat-based editor, AI Edit styles, digital twins and AI actors, clip creation, custom B-roll, music, sound effects and images, and automatic captions in more than 100 languages. Coverage of the rebrand describes Mirage as expanding into AI research for short-form video, with Mirage Studio aimed at brands and ad production.
The Free plan covers basic editing and captions with one caption template. Max adds 500 credits a month and the AI editing and actor features. The Frontier plans add 1,400, 2,800 or 5,600 credits a month and access to more advanced generative models, and Enterprise adds bulk credit discounts, custom seats, training-data exclusion and priority support. The pricing page notes that its prices and features reflect the iOS app plans only.
