About n8n
n8n is a workflow automation platform for technical teams. You build workflows in a visual editor, add code steps in JavaScript or Python, call any API, and add AI agent nodes that use tools. Every plan includes unlimited users and workflows and every integration.
Agent features include an AI Agent node, MCP server and client nodes, human approval for tool calls, hosted and embedded chat, and evaluations to test and monitor AI workflows. Hosting is flexible: use n8n Cloud, or self-host. A free Community Edition of n8n can be self-hosted from GitHub.
Cloud and paid plans are priced by monthly workflow executions rather than by step or by user, so a workflow counts once however many steps it has. Starter and Pro are cloud plans with a free trial, Business is self-hosted with single sign-on, Git version control and queue mode, and Enterprise adds an external secret store, log streaming and an SLA. Prices are shown in euros.
