About Gemini

Gemini is Google's AI assistant. You can chat by text or voice with Gemini Live, ask for Deep Research on a topic, create images, draft and edit in Canvas, and build Gems, which are custom versions of Gemini with their own instructions. It connects with Google Workspace apps such as Gmail and Docs and with extensions for Maps and YouTube, and it is available on the web, on mobile, on desktop and in Chrome.

The Free plan includes chat, image generation, Deep Research, Gemini Live and Canvas, with 15GB of storage. Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra raise the usage limits and add video generation, more storage and extras such as Google Home Premium and YouTube Premium on the higher tiers.

Developers can use Gemini models through Google AI Studio and the Gemini API.
