About Google Antigravity
Google Antigravity is Google's agentic development platform. It includes a full development environment with agent management and codebase understanding, autonomous coding agents that can run tasks and shell commands, a desktop application (version 2.0), a command-line tool and an SDK for prototyping your own agents. Browser-in-the-loop agents can automate repetitive browser tasks. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, and has a web interface called Remote Control.
Antigravity is free for individual developers, and paid plans are offered to organisations. It works with Google's Gemini models. Google positions it for full-stack and front-end developers, enterprise teams and scientific work.
Our take
- Good for
- developers who want an agent-first coding environment from Google.
- Skip it if
- you work with confidential code on a personal account.
- The catch
- its terms let Google store interaction data on consumer accounts, with a telemetry setting as the main control, and free limits are metered by work done and have changed.
Checked . Plans and limits change, so confirm them on the vendor's site before you buy.
