About Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft's consumer AI assistant. You can chat with it, search the web and get grounded answers, ask it to create text and images, and use tools for deeper work such as Researcher for in-depth research, Notebook for keeping related information together and Guided Learning for study. Cowork, formerly called Tasks, helps with collaborative work. Copilot is available on the web, on Windows and Mac, in Microsoft Edge and on iOS and Android.
A free tier is available with a Microsoft account, with usage limits on some features. Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, Premium and Pro subscriptions raise those limits, and the higher tiers add tools such as Researcher and Analyst.
