DeepL is an AI language company known for its translator. You can translate text, whole documents and web pages, set glossaries and style rules for consistent terminology, use translation memory on higher plans, and choose formal or informal tone. DeepL Voice translates spoken conversations and meetings, and Write Pro is an AI writing assistant that improves clarity and adapts a message to its audience.
Translation Flow, an add-on for business plans, adds AI workflows for specific translation tasks. An API lets developers build translation into their own products, and DeepL can be used inside Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude through MCP. Paid plans state that your content is not used to train the models.
There is a free version with a monthly character limit. Individual, Team and Business plans raise the limits for characters and files, add shared glossaries and style lists, and bring in administration, single sign-on, provisioning and availability commitments. Enterprise adds custom limits, the option to bring your own key and a dedicated team. Prices on the German site are shown in euros including VAT.
